As part of the INTERREG IV A project,  600 meters of garden alleys were paved in the Hirschfelde garden to retrace the original communication system.

This project was prepared by a landscape architect and an engineer Frank Novak, Berlin.
Construction was realized by Höfert GmbH from Eggersdorf, a company specializing in garden, park, and sports playing field construction.

New alleys have modern, porous surfaces. Horse riding or other activities that could harm the surfaces, shouldn't be allowed there.
